GETTING STARTED WITH 2023 TRADESHOWS

Numerous companies, not just from Europe, will be attending BTL 2023, showing the possibilities of tourism and the tools needed to make guests' journey unforgettable. 

“This adhesion to BTL 2023 is a clear sign of the sector's enthusiasm for a new year, in which tourism is once again celebrated without restrictions as one of the great engines of our economy. We are working towards an even better and bigger fair, with a differentiated offer and a redoubled focus on direct sales to the consumer”, says Pedro Braga, Deputy General Manager of Lisboa Feiras Congressos e Eventos. 

For the 2023 edition, it is expected that the previous numbers will be surpassed in terms of visitors and exhibitors, placing Portugal as a prominent destination on the world stage, mainly in terms of the offer of services in Wine Tourism, Culture, Music Festivals, Nature, Technologies and the world Digital, which are key themes in this year's edition, as major drivers of the sector. 

Another bet by the Portuguese government is the “Hosted Buyers International” program, which aims to support international buyers with a specific interest in Destination Portugal with the presence of around 26 source markets and more than 125 hosted buyers (potential international buyers with subsidies of tickets and stay). BTL's Training and Employability Scholarship seeks to boost the labor market in the sector, bringing employers and job candidates closer together, thus helping to reduce the already chronic problem of lack of qualified labor in tourism. 

The 33rd edition of BTL – Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa will take place from the 1st to the 5th of March 2023, at FIL – Parque das Nações. We look forward to welcoming you to our stand.
